Serving as a dedicated space for vertical takeoff and landing, the vertiport eliminates the need for conventional runways. At the DRIFTx mobility event, hosted at Yas Marina Circuit, a temporary facility facilitated the successful operation of flying taxis.
Spearheaded by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) in partnership with the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Abu Dhabi Mobility (AD Mobility), the vertiport signifies the nation’s readiness for futuristic transportation solutions.”
